Hi Chris, nice site - wonder what antenna system you are using? I looked at your shack and noticed you made a little error (the receiver in the picture is a Yaesu FRG7700, the 8800 is a more modern looking beastie with a large green backlit LCD display) and I thought you may be interested to know. Hi, good blog, i traced you from your yoytube videos of the 2009 blackpool northern do, saw your user nams as your callsign, i used to be into radio holding the call G0SGO till i lost interest in the hobbie, well moved Qth only to find a total antenna ban, who knows i may get into it again.
Reading your blog about wigan brought back memories as i too was 16 when i 1st went around 79/80 and devestated when it closed.

Anyhows KTF and 73's never thought i would post those together :)

Nice to catch you on air last night.
Just been reading your profile and didn't realise you hailed from this part of the world.
I have been liciensed a little longer than you, from Feb 1986 as G1SHA, but unlike you I managed to get my Morse test.
Let the mode go but have come back to it and like you use the pc for sending.
I am glad I came back to it as I have manged to get some choice Dx with the mode.
See you on the Honour Role,I have 220 DXCC confirmed with 250 DXCC in the log.

Hi Chris, I married a Colclough back in 1970 from Durham N.C ..... I injoy contesting my self mostly the digital modes running Low power and a Butternut vertical. Hope to cu on the bands soon HNY. Keep up the good contesting over there.
